This is a great great modern art museum! Every year for Christmas I visit abd every time I am positively impressed with the exhibition on display. This time the main show was about computers, computer games and art. Really good! Even the permanent collection is very interesting and worth visiting. The building itself is spacious, light and elegant. In the summer time the garden is a welcoming place, especially by the little pool (which can be the site of art installations too).
The museum shop is well stocked. There is also a Cafe but I have not visited it. Overall, the best modern art museum in Jutland, a strong rival to Aarhus!
Truly loved and enjoyed this place. Located next to Herning and has lots of beautiful arts.
Love modern art. Not all is good of course, depends of the perspective and type of interest of each one. Art is subjective and sometimes surrounded by controversy. It's well worth it.
Next level was an awesome arcade experience back in I think 2018 or 2017 Where I last visited
It had a lot of things to try and some very old and nostalgic for my father to try, there was a great atmosphere and a decent fee for entry which I can't complain about.
While I can't say anything abouts what's been after, it's risks like next level that are different than normal museums that would make me visit again, while I didn't spend many many hours in there, it was definitely worth it.
Visited the museum for the exhibition Next Level of gaming. The museum is located in the suburbs of Herning in a location with other art installations. The museum has a cafe with good food at reasonable prices. Great place.
Was able to see the first human canonball!!! 😁😁😁🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰 …
Overpriced for 2 small exhibitions. Not very busy and none in small cafe. Was encouraged to buy a combi ticket for the adjacent Pedersen Museum which had was even less of an experience. Nice architecture though
I was there in June 2022. I really liked the architecture of the museum and the terrain on which it is located. The staff were friendly towards foreign guests.
